Pure Myrrh is a reddish brown natural resin that can be produced from the sap of several trees, but most often comes from the Commiphora Myrrha tree. It is native to Africa and the Middle East,where it has long been used as a precious incense and personal fragrance. Myrrh is used in many spiritual traditions and sacred rituals. It is most often combined with frankincense or other resins and placed on burning charcoal. This resin is mostly large chunks combined with smaller pieces and some powder.
